Silva Zamora Captures Spanish Women's Amateur

MURCIA, SPAIN - Former Hank Haney IJGA student, Marta Silva Zamora, a native of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, captured the Spanish Women’s Amateur at La Manga Golf Club last weekend. She finished the four day event with a total score of 293 (5-over par). Silva Zamora, a rising junior at the University of Georgia, fired rounds of 75, 70, 72, and 76 to win by one stroke of Natalie Escuriola and Ane Urchegui.
