Werenski Places 4th at 2010 Players Amateur

BLUFFTON, SC – Former Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) student Richy Werenski finished in a tie for 4^th place in the 2010 Players Amateur held at Belfair Golf Club on July 8^th-11^th. A native of South Hadley, MA, Werenski fired rounds of 72, 68, 75, and 68 for a total score of 273 (5 under par) and finished 9 strokes back of winner Kevin Tway from Oklahoma State University. Werenski, a freshman at Georgia Tech University, trained at Hank Haney IJGA for two years under Director of Instruction Hank Haney and Lead Instructor Matt Fields. Richy’s younger brother, Mickey, is now a current student at Hank Haney IJGA and also competed in the 2010 Players Amateur.
