Werenski and Meadow Finish Tied for 7th Place at Verizon Junior Heritage

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – Hank Haney IJGA students Michael Werenski (South Hadley, MA) and Stephanie Meadow (Antrim, Ireland) both finished tied for 7^th place in the 2010 Verizon Junior Heritage, held at Sea Pines Resort in Hilton Head Island, SC.

The first round of play took place on Saturday, February 6^th on the Ocean Course. Werenski, a freshman at Hank Haney IJGA, fired a three over par 75, leaving him three strokes off the lead going into the final round. Meadow, a senior at Hank Haney IJGA, shot a two over par 74, just one stroke off the lead.

The final round of the 2010 Verizon Junior Heritage was held at Harbour Town Golf Links. Werenski shot a four over par 75 to finish the tournament at seven over and tied for 7^th place. Meadow, who has committed to play at the University of Alabama in the fall, shot nine over par 80 to finish at eleven over par and in 7^th place as well.
