Golf Academy (Hank Haney IJGA) alumni Marta Silva Zamora and Samantha
Troyanovich helped lead their teams in a recent collegiate event, the inaugural
Kinderlou Forest Challenge.
Troyanovich, a sophomore at Tulane University, helped lead the Green Wave to the victory in a very competitive field including No.11 Tennessee and No.24 Ohio State. She finished overall tied for fourth place with a score of 220.
Silva Zamora, a sophomore at the University of Georgia, led the way for the Bulldogs by finishing in second place with a score of 219.
Silva Zamora (Santiago de Compostela, Spain) and Troyanovich (Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan) trained together at Hank Haney IJGA in 2008. Currently, Silva Zamora is ranked No.19 as an individual and the University of Georgia is ranked No.15. Troyanovich is ranked No.189 as an individual and Tulane University is ranked No.33.
