In 2009, 94% of Students at Hank Haney IJGA received a college golf scholarship. Are you next?

The Hank Haney IJGA Director of College Placement mentors talented junior golfers and their parents toward well-informed, sound decisions that will enhance their overall junior golf development, and guide them through the college placement process. The process is personalized and focuses on the one goal of helping students maximize their chances to receive a scholarship from the school of their choice.

The college placement process can be overwhelming at times, but there are steps that can be taken to best prepare juniors for this exciting time in their life. Through this process the goal is to determine a "best fit" for the student academically and athletically. In order to do this successfully, the student needs to follow the process and develop a plan. Planning is the first and most important step in this process and honest objective self appraisal is necessary. Through this process, the Director of College placement will helps juniors to market themselves to coaches and to show them how to stand out in a positive way. Coaches have to know that the student is the player they want for their team and that they will make an immediate impact for their program
