This past week former IJGA students have had success across the world in both collegiate and professional events.
Class of 2013 graduate, Phimnipha “Sandy” Wongwaiwate had another great tournament finish for Yale University. She finished in a tie for fifth place at the Nittany Lion Invitational with scores of 77-71-73. She helped lead her team to a second-place finish in the tournament.
In the Schooner Fall Classic, Regina Plasencia, junior at the University of Arkansas, led the Razorbacks to a second-place finish. She finished in a tie for seventh place after rounds of 71-66-70. Also at that tournament, Class of 2013 graduate, Ayaka Nakayama, finished in 21st place after rounds of 71-74-66.
Class of 2014 graduate, Milleina Ohara, competed in her first college event for Charleston Southern University. She finished in a tie for 13th place competing as an individual. She fired rounds of 76-76-73.
On the LPGA Tour, Mariajo Uribe finished in a tie 11th place at the Reignwood LPGA Classic in Beijing, China. Uribe is the 93rd ranked player in the world and has had a great 2014 season putting her 44th in the Race to the CME Globe standings.
