Chomchana “Cake” Phuchanbanchob of Chiang Mai, Thailand, first started playing golf when she was eight years old, but stopped playing six months later. Then, when she was 13, she started playing again. Phuchanbanchob had a successful fall season including a first place finish in the Lowcountry Open at Oldfield GC in which she shot par 72 in both rounds. A senior at IJGA, Phuchanbanchob will be continuing her golf career at California State University, Northridge next season.
