Parent Testimonials

"After just one semester at Georgia Tech, we realize that nothing could have prepared Richy's golf game, work ethic, and time management skills better than his experience at Hank Haney IJGA. With Mickey just entering his sophomore year at Hank Haney IJGA, we are confident that he will also hit the ground running when he enters college."

"Last year we took a major decision to enroll our son Matthew at Hank Haney IJGA so that he could pursue his passion for golf while studying at an academic institution of high stature. As South Africans living in Panama far away from home and from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, this was not an easy decision. Our high hopes and expectations have been met and exceeded in every respect! Matthew has been able to play tournament golf at a highly competitive level and he has been given world-class instruction in the classroom and on the golf course. We are sure this will make him a better person and help him to realize his goals and dreams. Just as importantly, we feel a part of the broader Hank Haney IJGA family and know that he is safely entrusted to professionals and house parents that really care about his development and his future. The IJGT is also providing him with practical experience of what life is really about if he is fortunate enough to play on collegiate golf or even on the PGA tour. He is being taught life skills in an environment of healthy competition. "

"We dropped our daughter off 1,000 miles away from home at Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy with people we had met only twice. They took her in as if she were family and not only taught and mentored her into being a great golfer, but also an even more wonderful person."

"Living in an area where golf is played only 6 months a year, we researched many junior golf academies and found Hank Haney IJGA had the best combination of personalized golf training as well as small classes at Heritage Academy for individualized attention. When Derrick returned home after his first semester, he won every major tournament and shot under par to qualify for several exclusive junior golf tournaments. This year, he won 11 tournaments and is one of the youngest in the nation who is "All-Star Exempt" through the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA). We are looking forward to seeing him progress through the next couple of years as a Full-time student at Hank Haney IJGA."

"Our experience with Hank Haney IJGA has been wonderful! Our son, Matt, has taken his golf game to a level we never thought possible. The coaches know how to motivate and help him grow as a golfer and a young man. From Hank Haney and Peter Krause to his individual coaches, they all teach the game with excellence, commitment, consistency, and passion. Academically, we have been equally pleased with the Heritage Academy. The teachers really understand their students and encourage them to pursue their passion. Matt has excelled this past year and achieved a position on the National Honor Society. This is all possible thanks to the caring staff at Heritage Academy. The counselors, teachers, and support staff make it a perfect place to learn, meet new friends from around the world, and prepare for college. We are very grateful for the opportunity Matt has to chase his dream… It really is an extraordinary place!"
