As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect. This is especially true when it comes to the game of golf, and you work tirelessly on perfecting your pre-shot routine, your approach to each shot, and finally the shot itself. In order to get better at golf you need to constantly practice and hone your skills to be able to one day compete with the best in the world. The International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) helps junior golfers improve their game in a 9-month program that combines training, competition, and academics.
Located on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, IJGA offers a full-time program for students that includes the following areas of focus:
- Technical aspects of golf
- Mental Training
- Social/Life Skills
On average, 90 percent of IJGA students receive a college scholarship to continue their education while working their way up to the elite levels of the game. Dedicated golf and fitness coaches, along with small class sizes at Heritage Academy, allow junior golfers to get the best instruction, in both school and on the course, which will prepare them for the future.
