IJGA’s new Performance Center developing quickly

The International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) has begun an ambitious program to upgrade and expand its teaching facilities. One of the first moves in this campaign is the creation of a new Performance Center at the Old Carolina campus. Construction is well under way with the exterior being mostly completed and interior fitting in progress.

Director of Physical Conditioning, Shawn Mehring had this to say:

“With the addition of the new IJGA Performance Center on campus, students will be able to utilize a dedicated space for Performance Training. The gym will be split up into two sections, a functional area and strength / Olympic lifting area. I am very excited about the new space as we will have an indoor / outdoor facility to allow for introducing new training elements to the IJGA Performance Training program.”

Transition to the new facility is slated for the beginning of April.
