Ankita Kedlaya‘s golf career actually started with tennis. ”I was playing tennis at a nearby academy and I just tried it and got hooked on it from then on,” the junior golfer recalls. What is your favorite golf memory?
Playing golf when I first started back in my hometown, I was playing or practicing after sunset.

Play more golf and listen to music
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
The only constant thing in life is change.
What motivates you?
Competition and the ability to get better and ultimately to win!
What’s the craziest thing that has ever happened to you on the course?
When my solid driver shot plugged completely in the ground and it seemed to have disappeared until I found it after searching for about 15 minutes.
What aspect of your game have you seen the most improvement in this year?
My chipping and up-and-downs around the green.
Favorite course to play and why?
Black Mountain (Thailand). It is an extremely challenging, hilly course and in great condition.
What are your goals for your future after IJGA?
Play college golf, but mainly play professional golf at the top level.
If you could give one piece of advice to other junior golfers or people considering IJGA, what would it be?
It is a great place to face competition and meet people from all over the world.
